I get out occasionally - cottage pie is better than it looks.

First Trip To 5 Guys Bergers
It was noisy and nothing to write home about. The little woman liked the fries.
Opening a new season in SWF. We've been here a couple weeks already but weather has been cool and I have not ventured out much. Things are warming up now and the dolphins have been calling so I'm thinking boating and eating by the water ... always it includes eating.

Easter With The Nouveau Vegitarians
Bob and Nancy's Ritz condo
Guests I found interesting:
Private portfolio manager ($50 mil but who's counting) ran against and debated Omaba for senate, sort of ... (as Republican primary candidate). As we suspected, Mr. Obama is politics on steroids. Polling results anyone?
Literary rep (whatever that is) for Chuck Noris, Tony Campolo to mention a few extremes. Interesting conversation. I though it would be difficult to find a Christian who thinks Obama is more representative of Jesus than anyone in recent presidential politics. I guess not. Is this what comes from publishing Greg Boyd's "Letters from a Skeptic"? We agreed on several points I think but he did lose me on the Obama turn. I just have no stomach for that much Kool-Aid.
I never really got to the others unfortunately.
I was busy offering my invaluable insight. I felt they needed it.
It was surprisingly enjoyable.
Return invitations are questionable. Just kidding. Bob and Nancy are delightful. Bob is your favorite uncle or the dad you wish you had (no offence intended to dad). Maybe the dad you wish you were would be more appropriate.
Happy Easter from Paradise.

Mike Huckabee
Same church but this time Mike Huckabee. I like him.
(Most UN-likely to be president) but it would be interesting. Maybe in some parallel universe.
Joel Rosenberg
The Baptist church we attend in Naples … yes, we are now Baptists … had Joel Rosenberg speak for two nights. Packed house of over 2700+ each night. He is a great speaker, very funny.
And he thinks:
Illegal In Some States
Simply Delicious and we can’t remember where we bought them … probably a good thing.
Breaking All Visitation Records
One of these people was a sea captain in a previous life. Just sayin'.
Chelation Therapy
My favorite nurse. She asked what I was listening to on my iPod one day and I told her The Cathedral Quartet. She said she enjoyed "full gospel quartet" singing. A true indicator of her religious persuasion.
